New Fabrics by the metre
I am so excited to tell you that fabrics by the metre are now available to buy on the website! This is something that I have been thinking about doing for so long, and it is only because so many lovely customers requested fabrics to make curtains, blinds, cushions etc to go with their wallpaper that I finally decided to do it.
As well as my most recent design Bird, which has a very subtle watercolour background, with the palest shades of watery blue, pink and grey, both Seascape (available in both Summer & Winter) and Owls of the British Isles are all available in linen. All have been digitally printed in the UK on UK dew retted linen.
Brambleweb is a UK linen cotton union and has been screen printed to get the richness of the metallic thorns. There are also some very delicate hand embroidered thorns scattered throughout the design, sewn by extremely skilled ladies in Thailand to add an extra layer of texture and some sheen.
