My first book Quiet Pattern

I am so excited that my first book Quiet Pattern is launching in May this year.

Quiet Pattern (Clearview Books) is an exploration of designs that deliver the gentlest of backdrops for the home, creating a peaceful sanctuary in which to retreat and recharge from everyday life.

I talk a little about my own inspiration before moving on to look at quiet pattern’s historical roots and close links to nature, before talking to contemporary, designers around the world, who reveal their inspirations, and working methods.

The book also examines how quiet pattern can be used in a practical way at home, room by room.  This is a book for those who love pattern and also for those who are afraid of pattern but love interiors as I show you how these delicate and inspiring designs can create a calming space to escape to.
